Ignorant Singaporean father

You know from time to time whenever you work in retail, you deal with people. And sometimes you will occasionally meet up with unsavory characters that makes whether God himself made them inorder to test you or just to poke fun at your already-miserable life, trying desperately to get some pocket money.

Ignorant Singaporean father

I worked in a Jigsaw Puzzle store in KLCC. Now a few days ago, on a fine morning there was this Singaporean family where they came in and virtually touched everything inside my store, well bless them cause they bought atleast a couple of things, but the way the father acted had shown me that there is really this thing in this world called "assholes".

At first they were glancing at this 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle picture depicting the ever famous Totoro. Then the father suddenly turned around and gave me what I would call an insulting side scanner from his eyes, "They are so expensive just because they were imported from Japan, huh?"

"Yes." I answered coolly. Compared to my worst case, this one wasn't that really bad, but to think that he was like turn his head around, glancing at you with his stupid half-closed eyes, which was rude and insulting.

Then they chose this 108-piece puzzle, and asked after paying, that if we can help them complete it.

When I answered that it will cost them 10 cents per piece, that snobbish father said again in a rude manner, "Wah, ask you to help us do only also wanna charge money ar?"

"Yes, because I said so." Again I said it coldly. Clearly saw me temper building up, the father grabbed the merchandize and gone with his family.

And yeah, they are Singaporeans, because they openly compared our price with the SG's shops.

I'm not saying that all SG shoppers are bad, but then, some of them really think that they can ask us retailers to do whatever they want us to do without some sort of compensation. To this kind of person I would say, "Hell, who the fuck are you anyway?"

This is my wimax modem... so far the performance is like.... flip-flop..... sometimes bad, sometimes good..... I don't know.... I'm in like 7th day of my trial and so far i give it a B+ rating. It's a least a bit better than maxis and the performance is getting better and better lor.....

the main draw back was that the modem is bulky and require an extra power source, unlike the latest Maxis 3G modems that only require an USB port, and the flip flop performance.

I once witnessed the raw power of the modem when I can download movies via rapidshare using Opera browser clocked at 60~80kbps, and can still watch a 9 minute Youtube streaming movie without buffering.

The Brilliant Green - Ash Like Snow

You may think the singer, Tomoko Kawase is cute.... well, she is like 33 years old and married. To the bassist of the band.

Acting cute you might say. Fake-up you might say, but you know what, all I cared was good music. I like her cute baby voice.

Eggs and milk aren't true vegetarian!

It comes from the animal. It is an animal product. It should be considered same as the meat. Hell, even though it doesn't have any life, bear if mind that a chunk of beef doesn't have any life of its own, too.

It has animal protein. Vegetables have veggie protein. Let's face it. That's the way to define it.

aiyaa~~~~~ no time no money no life~~~~~~!

Now I am working part time again, the people there will often asking me to stand in for them during their off day. That means I have to sacrifice my studies.... I've skipped some lectures and now They asked me to skip tutorials. Hell no. I won't risk my studies just for that money.

I'm celebrating my xmas with working. Sounds pathetic but no choice. I have to work now if I wanna enjoy during Chinese New Year.

Later I can only sleep for 4 hours before preparing for my assignments. It seems that I can never finish it.... they keep on coming at ya.... it was hell.

I shall be working from 25~28th of December. Xmas day is a public holiday so i will be guaranteed double pay..... does that mean one hour RM10? 10 hours mean RM100 for one day!! That's so freaking cool. My pay check is gonna be huge, but the debts I'm owing is gonna be huge too.

That's it. Once I got the money, I will pay off my debts with maxis once and for all. It sucks.

working like hell

I have started working part time with that jigsaw puzzle store again. And I have also created a blog about it. Maybe it will be talking about the things happenned when I work in the store, the good, bad and the ugly working with it, or just simply use it to make money.

the blog's address is: jpwmalaysia.blogspot.com

Jigsaw Puzzle World Malaysia <---- that's the name.

This xmas..... I have to work, since my girlfriend is going back to JB, and no one out there is celebrating with me, so I might as well work harder to save more money for future use.

I'm working again!

Well starting from January 2009, The Jigsaw Puzzle store that I once worked for before a year ago will lose several people. Every year is just like that. Young people hoping for better prospects and promises of their future life leave the currrent job and get themselves into another one during the turn of every year.

The puzzle store's staff turnover rate was kinda high, most people can't stand the heat and usually leave after 3~6 months. I can only say that our salary wasn't that much good compared to those offices, since we are in retail sector, but ordering people around, asking them to do stocking , sales and merchandizing coolies and pay them for only one person's salary isn't going to help much of the problem here.

I'm really kinda financially desperate now, my internet connection has been suspended because i just can't get enough money from mum and dad. And I didn't have any part time jobs in October.

In November, I got work for like 1 day, and it was hell, I have to go back to that Isetan in KLCC and return all the stuffs into the boutique; we are pulling out from that hell hole, finally. Thank god for that cos' it makes us lose money. No promoter, no sales, have promoter, you can;t cover the costs, cos the big store sucks away 35% of the revenue you made, plus shrink rate was like enormously high....... man, it is hell.

In this month the December, things are getting better since i have so far worked 2 days for now, and have guaranteed RM80 of basic salary. the commission, which is a bonus for a part-timer like me, cos' I'm supposed to have nothing, but since I have history with the store, the boss was OK for my old rate: 0.5% for my score.

I made like RM2800++ so far, and that yields me RM14..... not much, but were able to cover my transportation fees and food dring my work. I'm kinda lucky to only have to study on Mon till thurs, and I can work the noon shift (thursday's class ends on 12pm). that's why i have been urging them to let me work 16 days per month.......

On sunday (14 Dec) I'm gonna have a small rest. My legs are killing me since the promoter job requires me to stand all day long.

Asshole of December 2008: Mukriz, the son of Mahathir

Recently this asshole wanted to fight for the acting president of UMNO..... the nazi group of Malaysia, and then in order to get the attention and cheap political capital, he said:

"We should only let all our schools teach using Malay language in order to achieve national unity."

Then after being bombarded by Chinese school and Tamil school officials, he then said, "No, I didn't wanted to close down all Chinese and Tamil schools. Just change the medium language...... there will be still Chinese and Tamil schools....."

MUKRIZ, YOU ARE A PIECE OF MOTHERFUCKING DICKHEAD, WHO DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON IN THIS COUNTRY, IN THIS WORLD.

Tell me then, asshole, how can you label a Chinese school as "Chinese School" when you do not teach in Chinese language? I don't understand la....... Even monkey also can see what the fuck you are trying to do.

If this country's national language is Chinese, do you like it when we say all schools should teach in Chinese as to "achieve national unity"?

Look at America, all schools teach in English, are they united? Taiwan, are they united? Fucking hell no! Look at Thailand, all school teach in Thai, are they united? Anything happens, they are split into 2 camps. One yellow, and another red.

You, sir, are a losing motherfucking asshole.

The college's library internet connection

We;ll when it was being shared by a lot of people, the internet connection can be very frustratingly slow. Right now I am enjoying 1.5 mbps connection, but to achieve that speed you will have to wait until 7.30pm or 8pm..... time when most people has gone back. And the library closes at 9pm...... I can that's pretty much sucks.

But if you wanna save money, well you will have bear with it.

Today I only spent RM7. That's great cos the next time mum banks in RM500 will be like around 15th Dec, and now I still have RM170 left in my pocket. If I can spend like RM10 per day, I can still survive till 17 days later. Well, provided that I do not spend it on cyber cafes, comics and eating too much.

I will have to rely much on self-dicipline if I wanna save enough money to get myself a new computer....

The PC fair is coming on 12 Dec, and the stupid PTPTN will not release the loan before the end of December.... and some say January!

another guy beside me left the computer..... darn it! I am now enjoying like more than 1600kbps of internet connection hell it will be wasted if I did not use it to download videos!

my school loan still haven't come yet~

Well my school loan was kinda postponed, and luckily mum sent in RM500. Paid my room rental, utilities bill, treat myself to a nice dinner, and then went on splurge on instant noodles, milo packs, sugar for my tea bags, and that leaves me RM150 to leave around.

I'm planning to like really go thrifty, but the college's internet connection sucks even though it's like free. I think I can only go to the library at night, where nobody snatching bandwidths with me..... I have owed my ISP RM350! Man, my bad actually. I shouldn't have spend all those money by eating at mamak stall, buying books and so on.

So this is the last time I will be using the cyber cafe for now. I am now desperately trying to find a better way to cope with my life.

My school loan, they said, comes in at the end of December. Let's hope I can manage with that.

School life is not bad after all

I used to detest the college's canteen food, you know, the cutleries didn't get washed clean, well actually they just dump it into the dish washer and then using plain water to spray on it.... and then if you're very lucky you can still see tissies and oily spots linger around on the spoon or fork.... YUCK!

So it's always a good idea to wash it when you get it. Or just bring your own.

Again, the mix rice has been my staple diet ever since day 1. With the unbeatable price of RM2.20 for 4 dishes and 1 miserable scoop of rice, that's dirt cheap, compare to outside's food, where you have to walk like another 300 meters, and spend RM3~RM5 to get a decent warm meal.

Eating really does cost much of a student's expenses, but for me, it didn't just stop there. I have to pay for my internet fees, and it has been cut off because I fail to pay for it...... I am broke. I am waiting for my student loan to come in. And yet although they said that it will come THIS week, I remained skeptical.

I still have the last hundred ringgit left. Hopefully my mum will deposit the start of the next month.

Newly done!

Well since the old blog's settings have been fucked up, I have no choice but to erase everything and start it all over again.

Pity you say? Well it's nothing much tho. I haven't had much things to write recently, but then that doesn't mean that I will stop blogging. I will still try to note down special and unique things that happen around me.
